A new rumor for the next Batman game is making rounds around the Batman Arkham community.  It first came from the guys at Geeks Worldwide and a comic book writer who worked on the game last year.  We don't know the writer's name, but we can speculate that Court of Owls creator Scott Snyder could be the man that spilled the beans.

After WB Montreal's video posted to celebrate Batman's 80th anniversary, featuring four emblems from factions or secret societies in the game, Scott Snyder added fuel to the fire with a tweet saying "Wait for it... #bewarethecourtofowls".  The tweet was removed shortly after but not before screenshots were taken.

According to this new rumor from TheGWW.com and known leaker @New_WabiSabi on Twitter the next game in the Batman Arkham franchise could be called Batman: Arkham Legacy and players would be able to play as the entire batfamily.

As heavily hinted by WB Games Montreal developers and Scott Snyder, the Court of Owls will play a big part in the story.

Batman: Arkham Legacy was believed to be the title of the cancelled Damian Wayne game.  The official web domain was registered privately by WB in 2016 and renovated in 2019.  It now redirects to BatmanReturntoArkham.com, which doesn't work anymore.

As always remember to take all these rumors with a grain of salt.
