I just got word from The Arkham Channel and Batman Arkham Videos that WB Games Montreal cancelled their project codenamed, 'Project Sabbath' that was first discovered in a promotional video posted on WB Games' Facebook page back in 2016, and came close to official announcement at the VGA of that year.  However, it was pushed back due to "shake-ups" at Montreal.  We've never had enough reliable evidence as to what it was all about until now.  The images above are leaked images of the projects that an anonymous user posted via 4chan.  Project Sabbath was going to feature Damian Wayne as Batman (red eyes & bat symbol), an older Bruce Wayne as his mentor, the Batbike (Batcycle) to move around a rundown Gotham and the Nemesis System from Shadow of Mordor/War.  Other characters included an older Dick Grayson, a female version of Black Mask, Two-Face as the Judge, Penguin, Flamingo, Poison Ivy, White Rabbit and Gorilla Grodd. 

The game was a reboot, but a direct sequel set a decade in the future after the events of Arkham Knight.  This project was in production at WB Games Montreal before being cancelled.  The studio also worked on a Suicide Squad game, which was also cancelled, and early concepts for a Superman game that never took off.

But as some of you may already know, a new video game set in the DC Universe, possibly based on Batman: Court of Owls, is currently under development at WB Montreal, while Rocksteady is supposedly working on a "superhero creation game".  They've confirmed it's not Superman.
