We would just like to update all our supporters on whats been happening in our case and what we are still waiting for...All submissions for inquest have been presented to the coroner and we are awaiting a date for findings although we are still waiting for the evidence mentioned in the previous update regarding Constable Bryce Collins involvement when he unlawfully searched Luke’s history on his police computer whilst off duty and shared information with a member of the public BEFORE any witness statements were taken.
In February 2024 Darren Gilbert, Luke’s dad, gave an interview to Sydney Criminal Lawyers about Luke’s killing at the hands of 2 QLD cops, the inadequate investigation afterwards, the one sided and biased inquest and the shocking dismissal of new evidence…
“Nothing ever happens to the police, regardless of what happened or what they did.”
