In Serbia there are many cases of animal abuse that should be brought to justice, but usually the cases remain not just unsolved, but never looked at. As a part of many animal rescue groups I want to start this petition to wake up the police that crime is not just if it's done to humans but to animals also, and as all of us know it is also illegal! We had last year a case of a dog that was tortured in a New Years night in the most horrible way. The unknown person put a pirotecnic in the dogs mouth that was tight up like the rest of his body and blow up the poor dogs jaw and leave him to die like that- that happened in Belgrade. Then there is the case of a boy who killed 12 kittens by hanging them on the tree! The police told that they can't do anything because of his age ( of course we have facilitys for minors ) after some time the boy ended up killing a old man (I'm not sure if the man was his grandfather or is that from the other case, the 3th I will write you about..) -that happened in Nis. The last case I will talk about is also the case of a boy who first killed a lot of animals at the citys cemetery, the final one was a kitten witch he opened up with a knife and his interior put around a little fountain, after that he also killed a man with a knife.- That happened in Krusevac. So it is pretty clear that usually this type of behavior doesn't end on animals but even in that cases-DO WE HAVE TO TURN OUR HEADS JUST BECAUSE IT'S NOT A HUMAN? NO! There is a law! And the police forces represent it! And if they are not following it nobody will! It's not "just a dog"... It's not "just a cat"... It's a life! Every life matters!
