After just 2 yrs and 10 months into his term the Conservative Police and Crime Commissioner for Northamptonshire: Adam Simmonds has announced he is not standing for re-election. Allegations of cronyism, out of control spending, failure to reduce violent crime, numerous foreign trips at the tax payers expense, along with highly suspicious links to a proposed School to replace the county Police headquarters and an on going investigation by the IPCC have all seriously undermined trust and confidence in Adam Simmonds. 

We say 'enough is enough' and call a vote of no confidence in Adam Simmonds regarding his capacity as a credible PCC. We call for him to step down now.
