Mandy was arrested on August 22, 2024 as she went to appear at another hearing at the Fourth District Courthouse in Provo, Utah. The charges are from Vernal, Utah. The arrest warrant is sealed. It was not shown to Mandy at the arrest or since.

Mandy is charged with:

• Aggravated Kidnapping - 1st Degree Felony
• Aggravated Burglary - 1st Degree Felony
• Impersonating a Peace Officer / Public Servant - Class B Misdemeanor
• Forgery - 3rd Degree Felony

These charges are said to be committed on May 15, 2024, even though she was not even in Vernal, Utah on that date. She is being held in the Utah County Jail because she is not well enough to be transported to the Uintah County Jail, in Vernal.

• She has been denied medical attention.
• They will not give her an IV or send her to the hospital, even though she has been pleading with them.
• She experiences intense nausea and seizure like symptoms with her Mitochondrial Myopathy. The staff keeps telling her that she is faking.
• She is severely dehydrated. It hurts when she urinates and her kidney’s hurt.
• Except for omeprazole, she has been denied all of her daily medication, including nausea and depression medication.
• They had the water turned off in her cell and she was only given 2 oz. of water in first 36 hours.
• During that same time period, she was only able to get down two spoonfuls of applesauce and a few sips of milk.
• They turned the water back on to her cell the following night, but did not tell her until the next day.
• When taken to court today, she was the only inmate in shackles. Even though she only weights about 90 lbs.
