A series of events have happened in past 3 days in city which have raised questions to our safety and also on the system that should ensure our safety..! There was a small clash between an MLA's (Irfan Solanki,MLA)driver, gunner and 2 students of GSVM medical college. But what happened later was horrific for the students of medical college. According to reports, the MLA's supporters along with Police S.S.P. and other forces entered campus of GSVM medical college and started beating students who were returning to their hostels after giving exams. They also entered boys' hostels and even threw a few students from 2nd floor! They even abused their faculty and beat them too in the lathi-charge! This kind of act from police threatens to shackle the very principles on which the police is supposed to act and reveals how prone we are to such unlawful acts.

There is no law which states that a student should be beaten up by 10-12 policemen till he get injured , you can see that in the video. SSP and MLA have to resign after this inhumanity act..
