If you are a witness to historic crimes in Victoria, or at any time in the past a victim of a crime against you by Catholic clergy in Victoria, can you please contact Victoria Police on 000 and ask for Taskforce SANO. Statements given to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sex Abuse are not passed on to Police. If you have spoken to the Royal Commission, but not the Police, now would be a good time to do a Police Statement. If you have done a Police Statement or Stat Dec many years ago, and still have a copy, please send a copy of it to Taskforce SANO as many old Statements may be missing.
