In my age group early 1980s there were young people attempting suicide all over Victoria, as a result of the horrendous child sex abuse and torture they were escaping from. The Catholic Priest in Gardenvale who handed out booze & heroin was paid a Stipend in England by the then Archbishop of Melbourne George Pell personally, while there were outstanding warrants for his arrest. George Pell told the Victorian Police, he couldn't be located, which was proven false. There is copious evidence across Australia from Survivors, and the families of those who didn't survive of the horrific abuse seen, covered up, and denied by George Pell.
