SANO Taskforce Victoria Police is investigating historic crimes committed by clergy teachers social workers anyone who was in charge of children with a Duty of Care. In the past the Police did not take statements, sent concerned parents away and children away. If you have documents such as letters, photos of a known or suspected perpetrator in your old photo album or witnessed a crime against a child please contact Victoria Police. There is a very high hurdle of evidence to ensure that only people who are perpetrators are put through trials after all this time. Old photos of the perpetrator with the child at a family function or event are key evidence for Survivors to prove they were at the same place at the same time, or a relationship existed.
