This a thread of concerned parents on Facebook; The Pocatello School District and Principal Lisa Delonas continue their propaganda campaign  to intimidate you and your students concerning the Indian logo issue because they believe they are morally superior and know best.  Lisa Delonas even told you so when she asked the school district "not to listen to opposing points of view "concerning the Indian logo Issue. Now they are intimidating students and allowing "politically correct" students AND teachers to intimidate your students.

I removed some of the names to protect the students.

I just found out that my son had to spend half of one of his (in-person) classes watching a video of the principal at Poky talking about the mascot change, and interviews with the student government about it. Did anyone else hear about that? I'm a "little" upset that valuable time was taken out of his honors class that he only gets to be in twice a week. My child's education should not be sacrificed to push an agenda.

Yes, my daughter too. She was pretty upset and frustrated when she got home yesterday . She said it turned into a political debate. One student in particular (a Freshman) was reamed for his conservative perspective by 2 other students (clearly with more liberal views and they were both Seniors) She said it was very aggressive and flat out mean. (Yes, the teacher was present) She asked her teacher if they could get back to their class work and stop debating because she had lots to do. (She had had enough!) After class she went up to the freshman student and told him that he was brave for standing up for his beliefs and that she agreed with what he was sharing. Poor kid. Sounds like propaganda if you ask me. Not to mention a waste of valuable time. It really bothered her how one sided the video was. Not cool.
