We as Responsible citizens’ of this great country kindly request you to stop giving clearance for Methane gas Projects in India. At present, two contracts have been awarded to Great Eastern Energy Corporation Limited for constructing two blocks – MANNARGUDI BLOCK in Tamizh Nadu & RANIGANJ BLOCK in West Bengal. 

இந்திய திருநாட்டின்பொறுப்புள்ள குடிமக்கள் ஆகிய நாங்கள், தமிழ்நாட்டில் மன்னார்குடியிலும் மேற்கு வங்கத்தில் ராணி கஞ்சிலும் மீத்தேன் எடுக்கும் திட்டத்தை கைவிடுமாறு தங்கள் அரசிடம் அன்போடும் பண்போடும் இந்த மனுவின் மூலம் கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறோம்.

Methane Gas Fracking projects which has been in top list in the Government's Budget - can cause large scale desertification of India & complete destruction of agriculture in India. In USA, where Gas fracking was allowed, the people around those Gas Fracking fields are severely affected by various diseases, their land has become barren with full of salts, their drinking water too contaminated with highly inflammable methane, which can cause a catastrophe like earth quakes, fire accidents etc… As with many new technologies, which when they are likely to be banned in USA, the companies involved would like to thrive in a weaker country. Mr. Modi, would you want these Fracking & GMO companies exploit India as a weak country???

இந்திய அரசாங்கத்தின் நிதினிலை அறிக்கையின்படி முன்னிலை திட்டமாக இருக்கும் – மீத்தேன் எரிவாயுத் திட்டம் – இந்தியாவை பாலைவனமாக்கும், வேளாண்மையையே முடக்கும் ஒரு முயற்சியாகும். அமெரிக்காவில், எங்கெல்லாம் இந்த மண்ணைதுளைத்து மீத்தேன் எரிவாயு திட்டம் செயல் படுத்த பட்டதோ அங்கெல்லாம் மக்கள் பல்வேறு நோய்களால் பாதிப்பு அடைந்து, அவர்கள் நிலமெல்லாம் உப்பாகி, நஞ்சாகி, மலடாகி, அவர்களின் குடினீரும் மாசாகி வெந்து போய் உள்ளனர். இதனால் தண்ணீரே எரியும் நிலைக்கு தள்ளப்பட்டு நில நடுக்கமும் ஏற்பட வாய்ப்பை கூட்டியுள்ளது. பல புதிய தொழிற்னுட்பங்கள் – ஆபத்தானது, அமெரிக்காவில் தடை ஏற்பட சூழ்நிலை உருவாகும் போது இத்தகைய நிறுவனங்கள் பலவீனமான நாடுகளில் தங்கள் தொழிற் நுட்பத்தை புகுத்த முயல்கின்றன.   

      திரு. மோடி !!! நீங்கள் இது போல் இந்தியாவின் மண்ணை பாழ்படுத்தும் மண்ணில் துளை செய்து எடுக்கும் எரிவாயுவிற்கு திட்டத்திற்கு, மரபணு மாற்றப்பட்ட பயிர்களின் திட்டங்களுக்கு அனுமதி அளித்து இந்தியாவை – பலவீனமான நாடு என்று அறிவிக்கவா போகிறீர்கள் ????

Even after 25 years of Bhopal Gas tragedy, victims & their Families are still suffering & none of elected governments could get any compensation from Union Carbide, till date. Can any compensation compensate the losses to the lives, limbs, mutations & trauma undergone by people???

25 ஆண்டுகளாகியும், போபால் விஷ வாயு கசிவினால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட பல்லாயிரம் குடும்பங்களுக்கு இது வரை இந்தியாவை ஆண்ட எந்த அரசாங்கமும் அமெரிக்க நிறுவனமான யுனியன் கார்பைடிடமிருந்து எந்த இழப்பீடும் இன்று வரை வாங்கித் தரவில்லையே !!!!! எத்தனை கோடி இழப்பீடு தந்தாலும் இழ்ந்த உயிர்களையோ, ஊனங்களையோ, உடல்-மன வலிகளுக்கு இழந்த நேரத்தையோ மீட்க முடியுமா???

Now a company called The great Eastern Energy Corporation Ltd., has been awarded to explore & exploit the Methane Gas fracking projects across the delta districts of Tamil Nadu & Raniganj Block in West Bengal. If it is allowed to carry out these projects across TN, total delta districts, which is thriving in agriculture for at least last several thousands of years, will become Deserts & several crores of people, animals will have to be displaced.

இப்பொழுது பாரதத்தின் நெற் களஞ்சியங்களில் ஒன்றான காவிரி ஆற்றின் பாசனத்தில் உள்ள மன்னார்குடி வட்டத்திலும் மேர்கு வங்கத்திலுள்ள ராணிகஞ்ச் பகுதியிலும் மீத்தேன் எரிவாயு எடுக்க, தி க்ரேட் இஸ்டர்ன் எனர்ஜி கார்ப்பரேஷன் என்ற நிறுவனத்திற்கு ஒப்பந்தம் வழங்கப்பட்டு அவர்களும் களத்தில் இறங்கிவிட்டார்கள். இந்த திட்டம் நடைமுறைக்கு வந்தால் பல்லயிரம் ஆண்டுகளாக பயிர் செய்து வந்த விளை நிலங்கள் பாழாகி பாலைவனமாகி அனைத்து உயிரினங்களும் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு அவர்கள் வாழ்விடங்களிலிருந்து தூக்கியெறியப்படுவர்.

Why do we need these kind of harmful energy sources when harmless eco friendly energy sources like wind, solar, tidal sources are available???

உயிர்களையும் நில வளத்தையும் பாதிக்கபட வைக்கக் கூடிய எரிசக்தியை நாம் ஏன் பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும், இயற்கையோடு இயைந்து நாம் ஏன் காற்றின் மூலம், சூரிய ஓளி முலம், கடல் அலைகள் மூலம் எரிசக்தி உற்பத்தி செய்து பயன்படுத்தக் கூடாது???

Coal based Methane Projects using Gas fracking technology is anti Nature should be stopped at all cost & ensure agriculture lands are available for farmers to do farming. Government should pay incentive to Farmers for farming & not to give subsidy to Chemical fertilizers companies. Prime Minister's vision of all inclusive development can take place only if every village in India becomes self reliant to generate any form of green energy & self sustain.
