BHARAT over INDIA
The Issue
About a few years ago from now when searching for meaning of INDIAN I encountered something in context with fool or not so intelligent, well most sites have removed it now but it is struck in my head since then and I was not aware of change.org atleast at that time.
One here
http://www.dictionary.com/browse/indian
gives one of the meaning as
"Slang. a person who performs a required task or carries out the instructions of superiors:
We have too many chiefs and not enough Indians."
While searching for the origin of name many results ended up in INDIA being derived from Indus but was hard to believe because I haven't heard that before and kept on searching and then got an article that completely describes what I want and grabs the whole essence, please give it a read

Westerners had a problem pronouncing BHARAT so they changed the name to INDIA and 100s of years over and we still are struck with this.
Let us also focus on Red Indians, the native Americans
The term “Red Indians” is an old, British only no longer used and considered insulting term for Native Americans or American Indians or the indigenous people of North America in the area that is now the US. In Canada they are called First Nations. In Mexico Indigenous People. Another good article on quora which supports my belief

So in a nutshell I want you to sign, share and support this petition to rename our country as BHARAT and to be known as same to the rest of the world.
And I don't think it is difficult for government when Gurgaon can be renamed to Gurugram, states can be parted and their paperwork can be handled this should not be such a issue and also I believe this is a thing that not even a single BHARTIYA would condemn. Thank You
