Political and Administrative Will is must to revive the rivers

Please read this editorial in Maharashtra Times Pune edition. It underlines how lack of political willpower leads to rivers literally dying with unchecked pollution.
Funds of corporations are avialable for celebrating mega festivals or concretization of good roads but not for sewage treatment plants. For political parties, they feel that such projects cannot pull votes.
In such case the only option is to make citizens aware and ask them to demand sewage treatment plants from government on top priority. As more people demand this, then only it will be taken seriously by politicians and municipal corporation.
This petition is an attempt in the same direction to create a strong public demand. Kindly help this to spread as much as possible to create a situation where no political party would afford to ignore this important subject anymore!
