The Preschool has been established since 1962. Being a part of the Woodford community for families for many years.

The repairs needed to the Methodist Church are too much for the building to afford, meaning the church will close along with the preschool.

They are hoping to be considered for a new building on the old site when a new development is built, they need enough signatures, letters of support to help this.

This is a safe space for many children and families. This is a job for the key workers who have worked through a pandemic to provide childcare so other key workers can do to their own jobs. 

For many of the preschool workers, it isn’t a job, it’s a passion and it’s the love they have for their pupils and watching them grow and helping them learn life skills too. 

Myself and many other parents don’t drive also so this being walking distance is important too us.

The preschool is a family. Not just something we can split up and move on from. Friendships have been formed and decades of memories made. 

It’s given us the community so much, so it’s our time to finally give back.
