For more years than we care to remember Bradley "Buttons" has tormented the entire community of Plettenberg Bay by "stealing" animals that does not belong to him and either walking them through town in various states of ill health or trying to sell Puppies to unsuspected people. If he does not get his way and you are unwilling to pay him for the animals in his possession he threatens to kill or harm them. As a tourist destination this situation is no longer a joke. We have had incidents of reported torture and abuse by his hands. He is a menace and substance abuse has been a big part of his behaviour. Tourists do not understand his actions and neither do they appreciate the way the Locals speak to him when he is seen doing these heinous deeds. The time has come for SAP, MLE, Animal care and those who can make a difference intervene and help the community find a solution.
