Meet a wonderful greyhound named “Albi.” He was named after GREY2K board member Albano Martins of ANIMA Macau. Albano championed the eight-year campaign to close the worst dog track in the world, and our supporters provided the funding for the adoption of over 500 dogs from the deadly Canidrome. Albi, who is living in Western Australia, is now getting the second chance he deserves.
The greyhounds could really use your help today. The GREY2K USA Education Fund's board member Paula has graciously extended her offer to match all donations in hopes of reaching the goal of raising $25,000 for greyhound adoption. This is such a critical time for the dogs! With all the tracks in Florida closing, funding is needed now more than ever. Innocent dogs are sitting in small, dark cages waiting to be saved and your tax deductible donation can make a big difference.
