Animal Advocate Stacy Richardson reports on Facebook about dogs in North Carolina, with very heavy chains, likely being used as bait dogs, and asks for our help:

Her post reads:  "1700 Sheriff Harrison Ln Knightdale NC 27545

3 very thin brindle pits, all on towing chains, have buckets for water but empty, one young dog in pen, started with 3, I think these are the bait dogs in the pen, he rotates the tied dogs on a weekly basis out with new dogs, these dogs all seem very depressed rarely come out of their houses, only have housing because the neighbor provided houses because he felt bad for the dogs."

She asks that you call to report to:

The Animal Welfare Hotline

1-855-290-6915

or write them at PO Box 629, Raleigh, NC  27602
