Dear friends,
HfHR is pleased to share this interview with Martin Macwan about the importance of educating the young about the role of the Indian constitution in safeguarding the fundamental rights of all citizens.
Navsarjan Trust and Dalit Shakthi Kendra (DSK) walk his talk by continually undertaking innovative projects to teach school children about the importance of the constitution and the vision of Dr. Ambedkar in annihilating caste.
Martin explains one such project launched on November 26th, 2021 Constitution Day: "Constitution in Origami"
HfHR is proud of its association with Martin's work and is committed to work in the diaspora on countering caste discrimination and in educating the Indian communities about caste bigotry in India.
HfHR is also forming alliances with African-American civil rights organizations to educate the American public about the parallels between the civil rights struggle and the ongoing struggle in India to end the centuries-old discrimination against Dalits.
Please check out our website www.hindusforhumanrights.org about our work in countering Hindutva and casteism.
Please help us spread the message by passing on this petition for endorsement by your friends and acquaintances.
Let us together get to 10,000 signatures by the end of the year.
We can do it!
