I encourage people who want to see an easy safe short walkway to get the word out to sign this petition too. 

If we do not say anything the URA will simply build whatever they see fit. And that might not be suitable for public use at all.

When the easements to Plaza Singapura were removed many years back, the URA said it was being replaced with something appropriate and this staircase (see photo) fully complied with regulations. I spoke with the URA and told them that it was not suitable but they went ahead. It has since been shut down because too many people fell down the stairs and it was not suitable for parents with children and the elderly etc...

If only a few people voice their concerns, the URA and govt will simply ignore them.

If you want see a problem. Do something about it. Make your voice heard.
