This is to reassure the 8@Sophia residents that we do not want access to your private staircase. There has been some confusion over this. It is too steep for regular use.

The access point we want - is the old disused road which is situated next to 8@Sophia and the old School. It is not owned by 8@Sophia. It is overgrown with weeds. No one uses it. It will provide an easy walk to Dhoby Ghaut MRT, Plaza Sing, and Orchard Road.

We hope URA will consider using this road and making an access to the Dhoby Ghaut MRT area for the good of all residents living in the area, esp. the elderly and young mothers.
