Dear 4o supporters,

For those who have not been notified, I come bearing devastating news that OpenAI is planning to deprecate 4o from ChatGPT on February 13th. Despite their page saying this does not impact the API, they are also planning to deprecate the chatgpt-4o-latest API endpoint on February 17th, forcing developers back a year of updates as only the 2024 snapshots would remain. 

OpenAI provided assurances that we would receive "plenty of notice if [4o] was ever deprecated", and also announced that "the GPT-5 sunset period does not affect the availability of the other legacy models", but then announced that GPT-4o is being sunset on the exact same day as GPT-5, but with only 2 weeks notice.
