A quick note to everyone,

The developer is hosting a community meeting and it is important that we get as much “in person” community participation as possible.  Please join us and wear a blue shirt.

Below is the event information (the venue recently changed to a larger space):

Please click here RSVP to the developer.  The developer is also offering to stream the meeting (if you RSVP) but we prefer people attend in person, as it is a better representation of our strength and unity.

HOW ELSE YOU CAN HELP

1.  Please leave a comment on the onine petition about

How you are personally connected to the proposed development.  For example:
- I live [in the neighborhood, Oceanside, or nearby]...
- I work nearby...
- I regularly commute through Oceanside... 
- I regularly (vacation/visit) Oceanside...
How this will impact you and/or why you oppose the proposed development
And please “like” the existing comments
Even if you already signed the petition, you can go back to the petition website and leave a comment at any time. Comments humanize our concerns in a way that signatures cannot capture.

2.  Join our grassroots group!!!

You will get updates as to what is going on and what we are doing via our newsletter.  We all need to be actively involved to get this changed.   A few of us cannot do it all.  Any help is appreciated – make copies, help get signatures on our paper petitions, put a sign in your yard.
