We are now known as OSO (Oceanside Speaks Out)!!!
We don't post about our day-to-day operations but many of our grassroots members have been working hard behind the scenes. If you want to participate or stay up to date on our day-to-day operations, please consider joining the grassroots group (eddiejoneswarehouse@gmail.com). As the proposed development goes through the City Planning Process, it becomes increasingly important for us to get timely and relevant communication to (and participation from) the community.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
1. Please leave a comment on the onine petition about
- How you are personally connected to the proposed development. For example:
I live [in the neighborhood, Oceanside, or nearby]...
I work nearby...
I regularly commute through Oceanside...
I regularly (vacation/visit) Oceanside... - How this will impact you and/or why you oppose the proposed development
- And please “like” the existing comments
Even if you already signed the petition, you can go back to the petition website and leave a comment at any time. Comments humanize our concerns in a way that signatures cannot capture.
2. Join our grassroots group!!!
You will get updates as to what is going on and what we are doing via our newsletter. We all need to be actively involved to get this changed. A few of us cannot do it all. Any help is appreciated – make copies, help get signatures on our paper petitions, put a sign in your yard.
