We still don't know whether the sale of the former Mill Road Library has been completed, what financial return has been achieved, or what (if any) safeguards have been provided to ensure public involvement in and access to the former Library.

To challenge the County Council's secrecy, I have submitted the Freedom of Information request below. This has been acknowledged; a response is due by 29 April.

Dear Cambridgeshire County Council,

Please provide details of the sale price, costs incurred in the sale, and net receipt to public funds from the sale of the former Mill Road Library to Daniel Ross, together with details of any conditions on the sale or other safeguards which have been provided to ensure public involvement in and access to the former Library.
