There is one more day to sign up to speak at the public comment section regarding the recommendation to close Columbian. Please be sure to get your time scheduled to speak about the impact the closure will have on your children, family and/or community!
Please continue to send EACH member of the board an email individually asking them to vote no to the closure and what the closure would mean to your family. If you have already sent emails to the members PLEASE continue to send them as we need to keep Columbian on their radar! You can even copy and paste what you’ve already sent, just make sure you’re sending it to each email listed individually. We need them to know how much we love Columbian and how much EVERYONE supports us!
A public comment section is planned for November 14, 2022 beginning at 4:30pm at 1860 Lincoln St. You can sign up to speak at the link below until Thursday, November 10th at 5pm. Be sure to include Columbian’s name in the topic title as this time is only for members of the communities directly impacted by the closures. Please be sure to sign up individually rather than as a group and take this time to speak out about what the Columbian closure means and what a loss to the community this would be! We need EVERYONE’S voice to be heard. This is the time to advocate for Columbian!
