Vice President of the DPS School Board, Auon’tai M. Anderson will be holding a community circle tomorrow, Monday November 7th at 6:30pm at 2836 Welton St. Denver, CO 80205. Questions and comments will be allowed during this time.
Vice President Anderson has made it clear he is on our side and does not agree with the plan to “unify” schools. Please attend if you are able to as this is another chance to make sure the voices of Columbian are heard! We are small, but we are mighty! We are Columbian and we will be heard!
If you are unable to make it, please send EACH member of the board an email individually. If you have already sent emails to the members, PLEASE continue to send them as we need to keep Columbian on their radar! You can even copy and paste what you’ve already sent, just make sure you’re sending it to each email listed individually. We need them to know how much we love Columbian and how much EVERYONE supports us!
A public comment section is planned for November 14, 2022. You can sign up to speak at the link below beginning Monday 11/7/2022 at 9am. Be sure to include Columbian’s name in the title of your topic as this time is only for members of the communities directly impacted by the closures. Please be sure to sign up individually rather than as a group and take this time to speak out about what the Columbian closure means and what a loss to the community this would be! We need EVERYONE’S voice to be heard and this is the time to do it!
