Friends of Shanganagh Park,

Despite numerous attempts to get information from DLRCOCO on the status of the public consultation, the Parks Department have prepared a report for the DLRCOCO Chief Executive which is being presented TOMORROW, 9 May, to DLRCOCO Councillors for approval.

If passed in its current form, it will be a disaster for Shanganagh Park, the surrounding community and all from near and far who value the park's tranquil environment.

The voice of reason is not getting through to the planners who have no appreciation for our park and our community - it's time to show the Council just how many of us oppose these ill-thought and unsustainable plans.

Share the petition - get it signed - contact all your DLRCOCO Councillors, TDs, sports clubs, media contacts, family, friends, neighbours - anyone who can help us influence the decision makers who value both the Park and their council and Dáil seats come election day.
