I want to thank every single person who has signed, donated and written such kind and beautiful messages. Your unwavering support has been monumental and has kept my spirits high throughout this long journey that still isn't over. 

Since starting this petition, I have had media outlets published locally in Airlie, The Whitsunday Times, my interview was broadcasted on Channel 7 news and my article was published online for Channel 9 news alongside hundreds of petition shares and messages of support from my local community and across QLD. I have been in contact with my local MPs Amanda Camm and Andrew Wilcox, who have enquired to the department on my behalf about my application unfortunately without any response which is just devasting. 

I am now approaching the final weeks of my current visa and still awaiting any decision regarding my invitation application to the 491 and 190 visas. In the last week, I have applied for priority processing of a 491 visa but still have not heard anything. 

I have tried to contact Federal Minister Andrew Giles' office, again without a response, I'm hoping he will see and read this with compassion and understanding that people like myself deserve to be here and I have done everything the right and lawful way! I am still trying to keep my hopes up that I will hear something soon regarding my position but it is so disheartening because it just gets harder year by year. 

It's my birthday on Friday and I'm praying to have some good news by then, I won't give up hope yet! Thank you again to everyone for your love and support, it brings me to tears reading everyone's messages and it will be something I will never forget!
