Hmm those were the words used by a 13 Cabs Media Advisor towards me on a telephone call; when I pressed on the fact they called NSW police to make a report of concern for welfare for me, though where were their care in my welfare on the day they axed me?
They were not thinking of my welfare when they knew i was grieving for two family members, and than blindsighted me into a meeting, axing me me without time to provide two bloody' winks ay, like "hold up i need a cuppa tea for this one mate", i didnt trust myself with the tea!
My own sub contracting agreement without proper pre warning just lost over a deceitful, illegal lie involving regulations, that are their to protect me, just used in an appropriate manner and spat in my face. Like- oh i don't know, how about calling before the meeting - "hi, the meeting today isn't about your concerns, or matters; i need to see you about something else".?, How about that... Maybe? No, yeah their may be a record of it if you did that. Oh my.
So guys, Should i not fight for my rights? Or the the vulnerable, being elderly, or any passengers. Or my income, my business, my happiness? when the normal route is failing you, dont we become not normal ?
How many phone calls, emails, facebook messenger posts, or inboxes does a person have-to do, reliving it - telling it every week to somebody in authority? My income was taken in split seconds to afford any legal route, centrelink don't care: "You will be alright, they say lol, "yeah thanks for the concern, i really don't think it will be", - "i understand" they say, lol nah they do not. But really, How much do i, do you have to endure until you get taken seriously, on serious issues and failures as a voter, as an australian citizen, a business owner?
No Mayor in this area cares; they call and say in minutes, oh i have a meeting to get to, i wish you well� well why call only giving me 5 minutes to tell you the situation, i done numerous requests to get to that phone call, constant haggling to anyone who can at least give me five minutes, its just FKN mental how some people in these positions who treat you like nothing, it makes you think if i was a minority, a woman, well im gay, but i dont use a title to get action, thats not me, im a person, isnt that enough in my country anymore?
The meaning "You better Watch Yourself; watch (oneself) 1. To be very careful in one's actions or speech, so as not to do or say something harmful or offensive.
That is unethical language, to use terminology of that level in an attempt to; yet again, intimidate me to back off; or else!
I wouldn't say it worked long term, however at first i was rattled by it and did pull up on my connections and speaking out, it did take me by surprise.
Why i am contacting them, is a sacking of any kind, a ban, removal of position- requires this action in writing, with the context, the reasoning of a persons removal of sole trader in example, and to this day it's all been verbal and never in writing, i wasn't myself going to that meeting, or coming out of it after being axed to ask for it in writing, i had to walk out before i snapped and done something that put other peoples lives in dangers, but im too good of a person to ever let myself get to that.
Fairwork were unhelpful, non accepting of my mental state at the time of grief, loosing a job in indifferent circumstances, relying on another part time gig with Menulog to make up the difference is their reply pretty much, i had no choice to pay my bills but yo do some shifts on these platforms. OMG', get out of here, seriously! This is what i get in response after explaining my concerns towards the vulnerable, elderly, any customer, thou its there in black and white everywhere you look! Even online. C'mon.
If this isn't looked at, or important enough to act on, what else are these authorities, govt officials allowing. Jesus!
Being told various things by legal professionals that Fairwork wouldn't assist in this case, to another when it was to late stating yes they can. Is what preventede from acting immediately, but you have TWENTYONE DAYS to make a report, just 21 bloody days, ay... Well! can we have 200 days for people who are suffering, or abused from the immoral actions or abuse in any means? That is one item i want changed, now! Its time my premier, not premier at the time this incident occured, ill give Dom the benefit of the doubt but, he could come and sit down and we could have a constructive discussion on the situation and the failures from labor Mp's, state govt transport minister, and bloody unions - why have them! if they cant act unless their is an exchange of money, they can get out Dom, its just a shambles for an everydayer.
Im struggling along, im getting there hopefully, good and bad days, but i dont trust workplaces anymore, how much unethical can you put up with, im hanging on just hoping i can find some common sense and humanity within the realms of power to act at least for the community put at risk, including on the road, and these companies have to change the title from contractor driver to employee, for drivers to give them protection because not even employees at 13cabs have any and their all exploited used and abused, some cant even talk amongst theirself in their own team, in one submission online. Horrendous stuff.
I will be updating you shortly with feedback and complaints from others around Australia, each city and town are screaming out, i will also update you my progresses of this journey for resolve, truth and explaination, compensation. If no explain, its ok, i know - though will settle for an apology at the very least, and some of the financial means on my losses going 2 years now, what ive had to endure, whats right, and threat of my safety, not being paid my wage, correct transparency when dealing with hard hitting actions on others, truth in marketing when it has to do with public health and safety, and put a stop to exploitation in mass from these bloody crooks, or their site managers, its personal, but you call 13cabs in any city, explain parts, boss in in a meeting, call u back, no call ever arrives. Thats how they treat me as a driver, worker, customers, everyone. Their rude, hang up on you, tell you to hold line goes silent until you hang up in 10 min. Wow!
