Faithfuls of the Archieparchy of Ernakulam and Angamaly gathered today (2nd July 2023) in the grounds of the closed St. Mary’s Cathedral and proclaimed that communion is the church. They rejected the ultimatum decree of Apostolic administrator Abp. Andrews Thazhathu overriding the decision of the special Synod of Syro Malabar Church recommending a Papal delegation to solve the crisis in the church.
