Tonight, our petition achieved 1,000 supporters! Just two weeks ago when we started this campaign urging the Trustees of Chawton House Library to reverse their myopic decision to banish Shire Horses from a Regency Estate we had no hope that it would attract such a profound level of popular support. Thank you everybody. Your reward is a picture of Isaac standing in front of Jane Austen's House.
