Thanks to everyone who signed the petition to keep the Persian Language Program at Georgia Tech. Your letters and signatures helped tremendously. We have received updates from ISA's advisor, Dr. Garmestani, that the Dean is working to make sure that we can have the 1000 series courses back on schedule in Fall.  Dr. Garmestani is still negotiating about 2000 series courses. Our work is not done until we get these courses back on the roaster, so please continue spreading the news across campus and to GT alumni, especially those who benefited from the program, to send emails to Dean Kaye Husbands Fealing, Office of the Provost, and Prof. David Shook (Chair of the department).
