Firstly, thank you all so much for your ongoing support and signatures, 22,763 to date! Your encouragement means the world to us.

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to gather as much support as possible, and we’re finally heading to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal after a long wait since March 2023. Our court date is set for next week: 19 May. We’re currently waiting on the case documents to be released.

We’ve also engaged a new Sydney-based lawyer, Marial Lewis from Crossover Law Group (UNSW), to represent us. Marial has been recognised as One to Watch in Immigration Law in Australia and was named in Forbes 30 Under 30 — we’re in incredibly capable hands.

In the lead-up to our hearing, we’ve been tirelessly preparing all required documents — qualifications, employment references, income history, and character references — to show we will be a positive, contributing part of the community.
