I have today received response back from Eurostar regrading the email I sent them where they stated 

"Thank you for contacting Eurostar regarding the Kent terminals which have ceased in operations for the time being, which have caused our passengers to make alternative arrangements to travel up to connect with the service at London St Pancras. 

The re-opening of either Ebbsfleet or Ashford International maybe something that could be considered in the future, however there is no definite indication if or when this could be, despite the petitions to reinstate the operations from the more convenient locations for residents and businesses from Kent and surrounding areas. 

As you have stated that at least one station could be opened up to ensure a more direct service to mainland Europe, with Ashford being the most conveniently located. 

The reasons for the relocation of all starting points from the UK to the continent was due to post Covid & Brexit travel which encountered extra security protocols at the stations. This subsequently meant that the core destinations of Paris, London, Amsterdam, Brussels and Lille required the border controls resources located to be relocated to these stations. 

We would like to see the route introduced, unfortunaly there is no guarantee if this were to happen or when it may be reinstated. Your comments have been passed onto our management team. 

We hope that are still able to enjoy the current services that Eurostar are currently operating, and if you require any further information then please do not hesitate to contact us again.

Observe that and make it what you will, but in my mind if they wanted to reintroduce the services, they could via new equipment and could reopen Ashford International Station easily. Provide services for us the Kent, Sussex and people of the Southeast of England and rest of UK. There is no guarantee by this they will keep to schedule to reopening via promises for 2025 or 2026. Could be a long way off, which is why I am asking you to support this petition, in hopes to reopen the station a lot of earlier, to stop us the Kent people aswell rest of Southeast wasting our time & money that we work hard for, to go to waste to catch a Eurostar train to Europe. We should not be forced if we would like to travel to Europe via train to travel to London to catch Eurostar to Europe, we should be able to board at Ashford International Station. Aswell this station should be a gateway into Kent for tourists who wish direct access into our county to see, experience attractions in our villages, towns and cities. If agree with this? Would like to see the services reintroduced sooner than later? If haven't already? Please Sign, Support via either sharing or donating to promote.
