UPDATE SEPTEMBER 12, 2023:
ANDREW'S SITUATION IS NOW CRITICAL!
IS THERE A COMPASSIONATE PSYCHIATRIST IN TORONTO THAT WILL HELP OUR SON GET A FORM 3, SO THAT ANDREW CAN BE TRANSFERRED HOME TO P.E.I. WHERE HE CAN BE HOSPITALIZED? PLEASE CONTACT ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
We were advised of the following yesterday:
A Toronto doctor saw Andrew darting in and out of traffic.
Andrew was walking on Yonge north of St. Clair against the traffic in the bike lane.
Andrew was seen not walking on the crosswalk and dodging cars on a very busy street in Toronto.
Andrew crossed a busy intersection when the green signal was not present. Thankfully cars stopped to let him cross the street.
It is just a matter of time before Andrew is hit by a car and seriously injured. Or, he could cause a car accident injuring others. It is not my desire to say, "I TOLD YOU SO." Let it not be your loved one that is injured in a car accident caused by our son, who can not get a medical transfer back home to P.E.I.!
Andrew is a TICKING TIME BOMB and the Ontario psychiatrists at Humber, St. Joseph's and CAMH hospitals refuse to assist Andrew's psychiatrist on P.E.I. with a medical transfer.
Andrew has an opportunity to be hospitalized on P.E.I. and the Ontario psychiatrists are holding him captive and homeless on the streets of Toronto. The psychiatrists will not sign a Form 3 enabling a 14 day extension to stabilize Andrew and arrange a medical transfer. They say that Andrew is NOT A HARM TO HIMSELF AND OTHERS! Thousands of people who read my daily posts challenge this decision and are appalled.
I want to assure everyone that the P.E.I. Government will incur the cost of the medical transfer and make all the necessary arrangements.
Wondering if there is a psychiatrist in Toronto that is willing to assist. Please contact me on Facebook if you are the compassionate and caring doctor who is willing to step up to the plate and end this nightmare!
It is our belief that Andrew is exhausted, malnourished and sleep deprived. He may also have stomach and back issues. Andrew needs to be medically examined. There are many people who have experienced our heartache, turmoil and pain.
HERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF A POST I RECEIVED: "As someone who was supporting a family member with schizophrenia until his untimely passing, I spoke at length with the coroner, autopsy and police team who all felt that the system needs to change. While they support the rights of individuals to make their own health care choices, they also felt that the pendulum has swung too far. They want people to speak up. It is time for Andrew’s Law."

There was heavy rain today in Toronto.
FIRST SIGHTING:
Andrew is at Dufferin and Oakwood walking southbound. He was walking at a healthy pace. The rain stopped around 11:00 a.m.
2:05 p.m. Andrew was at St. Clair and Christie area. The lady who was with her husband on Sunday and talked to him saw Andrew again. Andrew recognized her and said, "You with the man." He refused any assistance. He was soaking wet and holding his left side.
2:30 p.m. Andrew was seen between Kenwood and Wychwood on the north side of St. Clair Ave near St. Clair and Bathurst.
3:27 p.m. Andrew was walking east on St. Clair towards the Loblaws St. Clair and Bathurst.
4:12 p.m. Andrew was at St. Clair and Warren Road between Bathurst and Avenue Road between Bathurst and Avenue Road.
4:30 p.m. Was at St. Clair and Poplar Plains in front of Timothy Eaton Memorial Church.
4:39 p.m. Was at St. Clair and Avenue.
5:05 p.m. Andrew was at Yonge and St. Clair intersection. He went east on St. Clair and was talking to himself.
6:15 p.m. Andrew was at St. Clair and Vaughan walking west.
7:00 p.m. Was on St. Clair West heading west towards Dufferin.

I believe the song, "You'll Never Walk Alone" is very fitting for our son, Andrew, and me. The photo of Jesus with a young man looks like Andrew.
Our son's dream to become a Bank Manager was tossed and blown when he became mentally ill five years ago.
Andrew has suffered immensely through snow storms, cold temperatures, darkness, freezing rain, hail, high winds, torrential downpours, thunder, lighting, and heat waves.
But I believe God has walked every step of the way with Andrew over thousands of miles. Andrew was a Youth Leader and Deacon at The First Baptist Church, Charlottetown, P.E.I. He was a much loved and respected Assistant Bank Manager.

I think it best to offer Andrew your generous grocery item. If he politely declines, offer to leave it near Andrew and perhaps he will accept it. It seems Andrew will only accept what he feels he needs at the time and refuses to hoard.

LOBBYING EFFORTS
I have been lobbying several months for a P.E.I. Missing Person's Act, with the assistance of MLA Susie Dillon. I am happy to announce that the P.E.I. Missing Person's Act will become law September 9, 2023.
There was an article in the Charlottetown Guardian March 16, 2023 titled, "COMMENTARY: A parents worst nightmare: P.E.I. should implement missing person legislation. It was about our son, Andrew Bryenton.
There was a random photo of a homeless person sleeping on the streets. This came to real life when someone sent a photo of Andrew sleeping in midday on a street in Toronto. It was heartbreaking.
I explained to the reporter that the Ontario Missing Person's Act assisted the Toronto Police greatly in the search for Andrew and could do the same for others.
I also contacted the P.E.I. politicians to legislate this important Bill which could help in investigations. In addition, I sent information to the media hoping to raise awareness about this crucial investigation enhancement.
The P.E.I. Missing Person's Act had First Reading 26 February 2021. It required 2nd Reading and Royal Assent which happened August 1, 2023.
Unfortunately, Summer Kneebone is now missing on P.E.I. The P.E.I. Missing Person's Act will now authorize police to use many investigative tools such as searching financial records, GPS, video surveillance, and cellphone.
Also the P.E.I. Missing Person's Act enables the police to release information to the public through media release, website and Facebook. Details such as the missing person's name, physical description, photo of the missing person, location where person was last seen, circumstances surrounding the disappearance of the missing person, any medical condition that is pertinent, vehicle and employment information.
In addition, I am lobbying for a P.E.I. Community Treatment Order. Dr. Richard O'Reilly, psychiatrist, from London, Ontario believes the New Brunswick Community Treatment Order is the best to both assist the mentally ill and clinicians. In his opinion, it is the gold star, modern standard and should be considered. Deputy Minister, Lisa Thibeau said that she would review it.
I sent this Community Treatment Order to Premier Dennis King, Hon. Mark McLane, Minister of Health, Deputy Minister Lisa Thibeau, MLA Susie Dillon, Dr. Javier Salabarria, Medical Director Mental Health & Addictions, and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Prince Edward Island.
In addition, I am working with MP Sean Casey on an Advanced Medical Directive.

I have a team of very gifted and talented individuals who are guiding, encouraging and supporting me daily. The list is extensive.
In particular, I wish to thank Maureen Trask, Advocate for Missing Persons. Maureen's son, Daniel, went missing and unfortunately was discovered deceased. Maureen facilitates a Peer Support Group for Missing Persons. I am a member of that group. Maureen also successfully lobbied for the Ontario Missing Persons Act with the assistance of MPP Catherine Fife.
Also, I wish to thank Kerry McLane, volunteer investigator with the PLEASE BRING ME HOME ORGANIZATION. Kerry helped search for Andrew in Ontario. In addition, Kerry suggested I start the PLEASE BRING ANDREW BRYENTON HOME TO P.E.I. PETITION.
