                                         PLEASE PAUSE ADVOCACY
I feel that we now have the attention of the decision makers. I would suggest that we pause advocacy. I understand there were countless e-mails and phone calls to Hon. Sylvia Jones and Hon. Michael Tibollo's offices. I wish to thank everyone for taking the time and making the effort to contact.

                                             MEDICAL TRANSFER
We are hoping that Hon. Sylvia Jones, Ontario Minister of Health will exercise her right to grant a medical transfer under the Ontario Mental Health Act.

I wish to publicly thank Dr. Richard O'Reilly, psychiatrist who alerted me about the Mental Health Act provision, enabling the Minister of Health to initiate a medical transfer.

We would be required to file another Form 2. This would enable the pol

ice to apprehend Andrew and take him to hospital. The psychiatrist would make an assessment. This would be used to determine whether a medical transfer would be granted.

PLEASE DO NOT CALL ANDREW BY NAME. PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE POLICE UNLESS ANDREW IS IN DISTRESS. UPDATES ARE AVAILABLE ON MY FACEBOOK PROFILE PAGE THROUGHOUT THE DAY.

                                  COMMUNITY TREATMENT ORDERS

There is no Community Treatment Order legislation on P.E.I. I am lobbying for it. MLA Susie Dillon is assisting me. I was advised that the CTO will be discussed in the House either October or November 2023.

I believe a Community Treatment Order will enable our son, Andrew, as well as many others stay on their medications. The orders are written for six months but can be renewed. A mentally ill person can be forced to take their medication in order to stay well.

This is a very proactive approach, as it helps to keep a mentally ill person stable and out of hospital.

Dr. Richard O'Reilly sent his recommendation for the proposed Community Treatment Order to me. In his opinion, New Brunswick Community Treatment Order is the gold star standard in Canada to follow.

Dr. O'Reilly is willing to speak to P.E.I. officials such as Premier of Prince Edward Island, Dennis King; Minister of Health and Wellness, Hon. Mark McLane; Deputy Minister of Health and Wellness, Lise Thibeau; College of Physicians; Medical Director of Hillsborough Hospital and P.E.I.'s Chief of Mental Health and Addictions, Dr. Heather Keizer; and media etc. Here is Dr. Richard O'Reilly's e-mail: Richard O'Reilly <Richard.O'Reilly@sjhc.london.on.ca>

Dr. Richard O'Reilly and Dr. John Gray, PhD have written a document that I sent to the P.E.I. Minister of Health and Wellness, Mark McLane for consideration. It is titled Evolution and Comparisons. I will be happy to provide that document.

Dr. Richard O'Reilly, psychiatrist is a member of a group known as TEAM whose mandate is for MENTAL HEALTH REFORM. This group consists of lawyers, psychiatrists and people with a vested interest in mental health. These individuals will be meeting with Hon. Michael Tibollo in the near future.

                                                  THANK YOU

We are most thankful to the people of Ontario who are caring for our son, Andrew, by providing him with food, water, money and clothing as well as giving me daily sightings.

I have a team of very gifted individuals who are guiding, encouraging and supporting me daily. The list is extensive.

In particular, I wish to thank Maureen Trask, Advocate for Missing Persons. Maureen's son, Daniel, went missing and unfortunately was discovered deceased. Maureen facilitates a Peer Support Group for Missing Persons. I am a member of that group.

Maureen also successfully lobbied for the Ontario Missing Persons Act with the assistance of MPP Catherine Fife.

Maureen has been working with me for five months providing guidance and assistance. I can't thank her enough for her kindness shown to our family.

Also, I wish to thank Kerry McLane, volunteer investigator with the PLEASE BRING ME HOME ORGANIZATION. Kerry helped search for Andrew in Ontario. In addition, Kerry suggested I start the PLEASE BRING ANDREW BRYENTON HOME TO P.E.I. PETITION.
