UPDATE AUGUST 4, 2023: PLEASE DO NOT CALL ANDREW BY NAME AS IT WILL SPOOK HIM. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE POLICE UNLESS ANDREW IS IN DISTRESS. THANK YOU.
Many thanks to Marvin Ross, from Ontario who wrote a blog about Andrew's sad situation. The blog is getting a lot of attention and Andre Picard of the Globe tweeted it and Avis Favro, the health reporter for CTV National retweeted it. Here is the link: https://dawsonross.wordpress.com/.../why-ontarios-mental.../
The first sighting was at 2:57 a.m. Andrew was seen by a TCC bus driver on Dufferin and Eglinton streets going west bound on Eglinton. He was dry in spite of the rain which was heavy most of the night. He had a box of Fruit Loops cereal in his hand.
The latest sighting was at 5:43 p.m. Andrew was noticed at Church at Wellesley. He was holding food. He is now in downtown Toronto. There is a group called Progress Place that is keeping an eye out for him to see if he needs anything. They will try to talk with him.
Please continue to add your signature to the PLEASE BRING ANDREW BRYENTON HOME PETITION. Please share it with family and friends. The link is: https://chng.it/TMKMZfHH2p
We have received 2749 signatures so far. Hopefully the media will take an interest in Andrew's story. It will definitely raise mental health awareness and the need for Mental Health Reform.
I could not file the Form 2 today as I could not contact the Justice of the Peace Intake Court Office. The person I dealt with before must be on vacation. Monday is a holiday in Ontario. Will try again on Tuesday.
