Hi! Ricky here, letting those of you who signed the petition that Jackson Mohr Day has actually been approved by the mayor, almost a year after it was created!! Thanks so much to Mayor Ron Nirenberg for approving this city-wide holiday. The day will be dedicated to kindness and SCD (Sudden Cardiac Death) awareness. So on that day, in honor of Jackson Mohr and his family, you should make a list of 22 things you can do to help your family, your friends, or yourself. Of course you don't have to do all of them, but if you choose to do something to help yourself, a good place to start would be getting a SCD screening if you are 13 or more years old or haven't got one yet. I hope this day inspires you to do what Jackson did best: kindness. See ya!
