Petition updatePlants Not Pills - Reverse DVA’s Attack on Veterans’ Access to Medicinal CannabisWe Took This to Canberra. Here’s What Veterans Told Us.

Last week, we took this fight directly to Canberra.

We presented The State of Veterans’ Affairs in Australia to key decision-makers, sharing what veterans across the country are actually experiencing right now.

And the message couldn’t be clearer.

This isn’t just frustration.
It’s a system under pressure.

📊 Based on a national survey of over 1,100 veterans, the findings show:

Trust in the system is sitting at just 2.6 out of 10
Nearly 9 in 10 veterans say they are not meaningfully consulted on major decisions
93.5% want the right to choose their provider, yet most feel they don’t have that choice in reality
Mental health is critically low, averaging just 2.8 out of 10
This is not theoretical.
This is what veterans are telling us, directly.

And when it comes to medicinal cannabis, the gap between policy and reality is growing:

Strong support from veterans for access
But increasing restrictions being introduced without consultation
This is exactly why this petition matters.

Because decisions are being made about veterans, not with them.

We’re not asking for special treatment.
We’re asking for:

✔ Choice
✔ Access
✔ Consultation
✔ A system that actually listens

Thank you for standing with us and helping bring this issue directly to those in power.
