This petition was started on 27 January 2019 by No Incinerator 4 Horsham Community Group. On 4 March 2019 with a total of 1,314 signatures, 889 online and 425 on paper copies it was submitted to the Planning Inspector.

On 6 November 2019 at the Public Inquiry the petition with a total so far of 2,237 signatures, 1,501 online and 736 on paper copies, including
those submitted on 4 March 2019 and 142 online comments, including 20 petition updates by NI4H was submitted to Inspector Ian Jenkins.
