Sex trafficking is undoubtedly an issue that is gaining coverage across the world. Its presence is frightening and does not seem to be slowing, either. With sex trafficking becoming more prevalent in the world and United States in particular, it is vital that proper education is provided to the youth of America to ensure that the facts, dangers, and signs of sex trafficking are all known and understood. In order to guarantee there is exposure to the issue of sex trafficking within communities nationwide, education must take place. Each school has curriculum that is taught for provide foundational knowledge to its students and sex trafficking must be included in those required course so awareness is heightened and students are more conscious of their surroundings and what is happening throughout the world.

Sign this petition if you believe Pittsburg State University should include a unit on sex trafficking--its prevention, dangers, and general facts--within its required curriculum for all students (Freshman Experience).
