Dedan Waciuri's court date is March 15th, 2021.

Come out to the Pitt County Courthouse at 8:00am on 3/15/21 to support Dedan Waciuri, a Greenville organizer who has been unfairly targeted with bogus charges because of his work focused on Black liberation and police accountability. These charges like "inciting a riot" and "damage to government property" are being used to undermine Black dissent in Eastern North Carolina and beyond. This is the city’s response to a community organizer and a political attack on the people’s democratic right to free speech. This is an attempt to suppress the voices of the people.

We ask you to join us and stand in full solidarity with Dedan Waciuri and with all other political prisoners of state repression on Monday, March 15th, 2021. Wear a mask and meet us at the Pitt County Courthouse at 8:00am.
