SB1003 and SB1261 are bills expressly designed to suppress the Latino vote in Arizona. This legislation has been met with strong opposition from many Latino leaders and elected officials, including AZ Sen. Steve Gallardo, AZ Rep. Martin Quezada, Los Abogados Hispanic Bar Association, and many others.  Despite this, Pima County Recorder F. Ann Rodriguez has been actively lobbying in favor of this legislation! This is completely unacceptable, and we demand that Rodriguez stand up for voting rights in Arizona, and that she end her support of this legislation designed to suppress the Latino vote!
