Social media like Facebook and Twitter are reaching thousands of users that oppose the name change from "Piedmont Triad International Airport" (PTI) to "Central North Carolina International Airport" (CNCIA). Driving on Bryan Boulevard and I-40 today I saw a number of signs that gave travelers directions to "PTI Airport". I don't think the Airport authority board members have taken into consideration the State and Local dollars that will have to be spent to change these highway signs.
