I (We) Contacted Live Phish!
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that I sent an email to Live Phish and Eli Tishberg. I included the pdf file of all of your names in the message. Thank you again to all of you; 220 signatures is way more than I ever thought I would get.
All we can do now is wait and see what Live Phish says. I have included the full text of the email below.
I truly appreciate your efforts on behalf of this petition!

"Dear Live Phish & nugs.net,
I hope this message finds you well! I am ecstatic that the 2019 Phish summer tour is underway, as myself and countless Phish fans have thoroughly enjoyed seeing and hearing the band tear it up in St. Louis and at Bonnaroo. Without the effort your crew devotes to bringing us live webcasts, many fans would never have been able to share in great moments in phishtory, such as the second-set opening "Gloria" after the Blues Stanley Cup win, or some of the best sets in recent memory at Bonnaroo. My phandom would not be where it is today without your hard work and dedication to making the webcasts a reality.
I write to you today with a suggestion as to how to make the already excellent Live Phish product even better and more accessible to phans. When the first of three Bonnaroo sets on 6/14 was broadcast on Sirius XM, phish message boards began to light up with comments regarding the sound quality. Some fans remarked that the mix and playback was the best they had heard, and that it allowed the band's fullest capabilities to shine through. Fans wondered whether they could get such high quality playback for all live Phish broadcasts, and why an audio-only live stream option was not available.
I have attached a link to a petition signed by (as of the time I am writing this) 220 phans asking you to please consider
1) Offering an audio-only streaming option for live shows that is either available for purchase on Live Phish at a fair price relative to the price of a webcast, or streaming all future live shows on Sirius XM for those with a subscription
2) Implementing improvements to the playback quality and mix of Live Phish webcasts and audio-only streams
I realize that you may be unable to replicate the mix and playback quality of Bonnaroo's in-house setup, and I also realize that you may have considered all of the avenues I have listed in the past and decided not to implement them. I do not purport to be a sound engineer, and I cannot imagine the amount of coordination, planning, and financial resources it takes to make the streams happen. But offering an audio-only stream for live shows would be a big help to the phish community. On my petition's page, you can see comments from people who say that they would be better served via an audio stream due to budget considerations. I, and I'm sure many other phans, empathize with that.
When I made this petition, I didn't think I would get any response from phans or you all at Live Phish, but now that more than 200 phans have signed I wanted to at least bring it to your attention and be able to say that I tried.
Thank you for your consideration; please know that your work is truly appreciated by the Phish community!
