UNDELIVERED CARGO BOXES BY RDR CARGO AND LOGISTICS

UNDELIVERED CARGO BOXES BY RDR CARGO AND LOGISTICS
The Issue
Good day President Duterte:
We are Filipino-Americans based in the states along the east coast corridor of the United States of America. Just like any Filipino who has migrated to the different corners of the world, we regularly send balikbayan/cargo boxes to our families in the Philippines. Everyone knows that each item in those boxes are wrapped with love for the intended recipient.
In the later part of 2015 and up to this writing (August 8, 2016), we contracted RDR Cargo and Logistics based in Queens, New York to ship our boxes to our respective families in the Philippines. Unfortunately, until this time, our boxes have not been delivered by RDR or Rommel Del Rosario.
We have been looking for Rommel Del Rosario and his mother Minerva Del Rosario to tell us where are our boxes. Between April and May 2016, we contacted them and they assured us that our boxes will be delivered except they need more time. Some of us received letters from RDR informing us that we need to add $40.00 because the boxes will not be released by the Bureau of Customs.
Please be informed that RDR closed shop and Online Padala operated/owned by Sylvia Crawford took over RDR's office. Sylvia Crawford has physical possession of our invoices but she denies that she is connected with RDR.
Mr. President, you know very well how precious those balikbayan boxes are to the shippers and the consignees alike. Inside are items for different reasons and for different special people in our lives. We invested time, money, and emotions to have those items in the boxes to be shipped to the Philippines.
Mr. President, we are getting mixed signals from different sources - some boxes are still in the US, some have arrived but BOC will not release because customs duties have not been paid by the cargo forwarder, some boxes have been auctioned because they have forfeited customs requirements, and some have been claimed by distributors but stored in some places and will not be released until the additional $40.00 will be paid.
Mr. President, we know you have more problems and concerns to attend to which are national in scope but we would beg your indulgence and attention to look into our plight.
Some consignees have reported this matter to BOC Manila and we hope you can ask for their feedback on what they have done in line with this matter.
Please we need your help.
