We've reached 10 signatures!
Sounds disappointing, doesn't it? Believe it or not, it's been harder getting a handful of people to spend 20 seconds signing this petition that it was to research and create the petition in the first place!
Please SHARE it, a few times per week. Once we pass a hundred, we'll have the momentum to get exponentially increased support on a daily basis.
It might seem a small thing to drive for change, but to help you understand my motivation here, I'd like to explain something:
I have a built in aversion to exploitation. Even on a small scale debate, if there's a remark made at my expense I will react instantly to regain a balance of respect in the room. In todays society, we are being disrespected and exploited by big business and the governing bodies who they financially support. We ALL know it to different degrees. Some might feel offended by the lack of competence of the NHS, given how much we all pay for it. Others might feel their right to self medicate ailments is nobody's business but their own! Whatever it is, on the national scale, we are treated second or third priority behind billionaires and the economy. There are 65million people living in the UK, only 120 of them are billionaires. So who makes this economy? Who is entitled to the most support and favourable terms?
Big statements for such a small petition. But if I were heading up a petition to reduce income tax for the masses and increase tax dramatically for Billionaires, guess how far we would get? - So, Baby steps. I'm sure there are more people like me who are trying to leverage some strength for our fellow people in society. If we get our way with this small change, it re-establishes a new threshold of the people's voice. The next change will be a bigger, more important change, and so on..
