Rahaf Mohammed M Alqunun told AFP she was stopped by Saudi and Kuwaiti officials when she arrived in Suvarnabhumi airport and her travel document was forcibly taken from her, a claim backed by Human Rights Watch. She is trying to escape abuse and marriage many do not experience at all in life. 

Aged eighteen, this young woman faces what most Britons don’t - the risk of death, at her own families hands. No one should ever have to face this fear, this level of isolation. This woman deserves a free life away from her abusive family and constricting forced living conditions. At eighteen, your life should just begin, not be ending. 

Please help in giving Rahaf justice and support by sharing this petition, and hopefully the UN embassy will seek involvement and a solution for Rahaf. Please do not ignore this woman’s plight. Please help this young woman escape this abuse.
