Rami's Heart COVID-19 Memorial in conjunction with Marked by Covid is having a lighting ceremony Monday, July 26th in Washington DC as part of the Covid-19 Lobby Days. In honor of the 608,000 lives lost, 608 luminaries will be lit.

For those joining in person, this will take place on the SW side of the Ellipse, closest to Constitution Ave. You would need to park on Constitution Ave and walk on over. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO BRING A PHOTO OF YOUR LOVED ONE WITH YOU TO HOLD.

We are asking for anyone across the nation who would like to have their loved ones name read and photograph shown during the ceremony to please complete this form:

The vigil will feature speakers, more than 100 photos of people lost to COVID submitted by grieving family members, 609 lights (one for every 1,000 lives lost), a piece of the Rose River felt rose memorial, and panels from the Covid Memorial Quilt.
